Topic of the day: A Story from the Torah, Noah’s Ark Goals:

  • to introduce children to the idea that the Torah is a collection of the stories that help people to learn a lesson from them.

  • to explain the meaning of the word righteous

Story: Why Noah Chose the Dove by Isaac Bashevis Singer. Project: Making Noah’s ark out of paper plate using markers, scrap paper and foam people. Suggestion for family activities: Ask your children: Why did G-d send a flood to the Earth?
