Goals:

• to review the previous class material.

• to introduce the story of Shabbat

• to introduce Shabbat traditions and customs : lighting candles, saying a blessing over the wine and challah.

Story: Shabbat story: Shabbat Box, by Lesley Simpson.

Project: Making Shabbat collage.

Suggestion for family discussion: Have a discussion with your children about how you can make the day of Shabbat a very special day for your family.
