Dear PASJE Families

Today we reviewed what we learned about Rosh Hashanah, and I was so glad to see how much everyone remembered, and all the information they knew that we never even talked about!

We learned about Yom Kippur and specifically talked about the prayer Avenu Malkanu, Our Father, My King. We discussed how when we ask someone for something - G-d or our parents - we compliment, ask, then thank. We spoke about how some adults fast on Yom Kippur to focus on their prayer and not be distracted. We read a great story about Rosh Hashannah and Yom Kippur.

Next week we learn about Sukkot and begin learning about Jewish History.
