Dear Parents,

It was a pleasure working with your students this past Sunday.

In Hebrew class, we reviewed the Song of the Sea (Mi Chamocha) from the Siddur, making sure to go over problematic consonants and vowels along the way.

In our Israel-focused class, I asked the kids to individually write down what they think of when they think of the word 'Israel,' and we then discussed each student's answer. Then we read about and acted out some of the events surrounding what the First World War meant for Zionism.
